About the Position

\n

ZING is hiring Lockbox Processing Associates to join a fast-paced production team responsible for processing incoming customer payments.

\n

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in finance, accounting, banking operations, or payment processing . Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Sort, open, and organize incoming mail for processing
\n
• Operate high-speed OPEX scanners to scan payment documents
\n
• Perform basic data entry, including payment amounts and other required information
\n
• Prepare and package processed remittance for client or bank delivery
\n
• Follow established procedures to ensure work is processed accurately and securely
\n
• Maintain productivity and quality standards in a deadline-driven environment
\n
• Cross-train in other departments and assist with additional operational tasks
\n
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Site Manager
\n

Qualifications

\n

Required:

\n

\n
• High school diploma or GED
\n
• 6+ months of experience in payment processing, invoice processing, high-volume accounts payable/accounts receivable, billing, remittance processing, document processing, or related finance/accounting administrative work; OR education in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
\n
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
\n
• Basic math skills
\n
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
\n
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
\n
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
\n
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
\n
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-focused environment
\n
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
\n
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
\n
• Experience with a 10-key keypad
\n
• Experience with document imaging, mail processing, payment processing, lockbox operations, invoicing, AP/AR, or related functions
\n
• Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant environments
\n
• College students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply

Performance Expectations

\n

Following completion of training, associates are expected to maintain established quality and productivity standards.

\n

\n

Depending on daily business volume and workflow, this typically includes processing approximately 600–800 envelopes per hour while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
