AVPS Technologies Inc. is building online learning and career-preparation services through AVPS Academy and Support To Ace. We are developing a pool of qualified technical professionals to support learners and job seekers through mock interviews, technical tutoring, and teaching assistance.

We welcome qualified professionals seeking flexible, remote assignments based on their expertise, availability, and program needs.

Available Roles and Hourly Rates

Applicants may apply for one or more roles. Compensation depends on the role and the agreed assignment.

1. Part-Time Technical Interviewer — $30–$45 per interview session ( 45 mins to 1.5 hours)

Responsibilities

• Conduct mock technical and behavioral interviews for candidates preparing for job interviews.
• Evaluate technical knowledge, problem-solving, communication, and interview readiness.
• Provide constructive feedback and complete structured evaluation scorecards.
• Conduct interviews in relevant areas such as Java, Spring Boot, microservices, full-stack development, system design, cloud technologies, and DevOps.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality during candidate sessions.

2. Part-Time Technical Tutor — $25 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled, cohort-based technical tutoring, typically two hours per week for a course cohort.
• Explain technical concepts, answer questions, and guide learners through coding problems and practical exercises.
• Support learners studying Java, Spring Boot, microservices, full-stack development, databases, cloud technologies, IBM ODM, and related subjects.
• Help learners prepare for technical interviews, assessments, and career transitions.
• Provide constructive feedback and help identify areas where learners need additional support.

The rate is $25 per hour for cohort-based tutoring. Rates for specialized subjects or assignments may be agreed upon in advance.

3. Part-Time Teaching Assistant — $15 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide routine learner and lab support during online technical courses and training programs.
• Assist with coding exercises, labs, assignments, and technical questions.
• Help review assignments and identify areas where learners need additional support.
• Assist instructors with lab preparation, course activities, and learner progress tracking.
• Escalate complex technical questions to the instructor when appropriate.

The rate is $15 per hour for routine support. Any different rate must be agreed upon before the assignment begins.

Technical Areas of Interest

Experience in one or more of the following areas is welcome:

• Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices
• Data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving
• React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and full-stack development
• Python, SQL, MongoDB, and database fundamentals
• AWS or Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps
• IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM), business rules, and decision automation
• Technical interview preparation, behavioral interviews, and aptitude assessments

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the subject area relevant to your selected role.
• Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• A professional, patient, and learner-focused approach.
• Reliable internet access and a suitable setup for remote sessions.
• Relevant professional experience, teaching, tutoring, interviewing, mentoring, or technical training experience is preferred.

• Cancellation terms will specify how completed work and late cancellations are handled.

Engagement and Work Authorization

These opportunities may be structured as independent-contractor engagements where legally appropriate. Worker classification will be determined based on the actual working relationship and applicable federal and state law, not solely on the wording of this advertisement.
